never understood peoples labor/liberal support, like they are football teams. Either way they are all exactly the same. Those who think otherwise are deluded.
If Abbott goes, we get another incompetent gnat. I still remember when Shorten was asked about Gillards view on the Peter Slipper situation, Shorten said he supported whatever Gillard said. When asked what she said ,Shorten said he didn't know. Then when asked again by the reporter how he can support comments he hadn't heard yet, Shorten replied with a straight bat that he supports what Gillard said. It was mind numbingly bloody embarrassing. They are all complete morons, from A to Z. |

I agree and see it like Jeff Kennett, like he said he and I were furious he made the promises not to cut, promising to do the hard things hardly wins votes, so its normal they don't broadcast them before, I really could not give a toss what Im more concerned about is reeling in the age of entitlement, and IM pretty sure Abbott Hockey and Co promised to do that time and time again. One promises I would of been mighty annoyed about was stopping the boats , if they had blown that then I would of been looking to vote elsewhere, but they havent they kicked a goal there. Swan you and I both know the GST cannot change without all the states agreeing, there is no way any State Senator can do it alone or even prosecute a case for it, so why do it, WA senators can bang on about it as much as they like , there is no way NSW , Vic, Tas etc will agree while they rake in GST bucks and pokie revenues , meanwhile back in backward loserville we refuse to reform gambling in this state and rip ourselves of Billions. With declining Iron and Gas revenues - the GST for WA will start to bick up anyway. J Bishop could of pursued the case - on or off the SC, you don't need a seat there to pursue it. The Netherlands and Malaysia did. Lets see if NZ moves mountains during its tenure. B Bishoop,,Pfft,,the bluff and bluser in the House of Reps, means bugger all, its all a faint acompli down there anyway. As for the PPL, for the record I am dead set against any form of PPL., if you want kids pay for them your bloody self. |

Thats pretty much the issue, one thing for sure is the ALP are just deserving a return at any time in the forseeable future, they will offer nothing in solving the structural problems in the Budget. The elephant in the room is the GST, it seriously nned to go up and be broadedned,,the report released lately on the NDIS alone now looks like it will coat 3 times the original plan,,completley unfunded. |

Fox News...bloody hell Swan that rubbish will rot your brain, as if the ST was not bad enough, btw doesnt Bolt write a column in it? sometimes you can find it hidden in between the 50 full page carpet and flooring adds ( more of them than actual stories), benefits of BOTOX columns and various other tripe articles. |

Bazza with respect to Bolt I haven't run out of toilet paper as yet.
Good to see Abbott saying that what he has done post-election is "at odds" with what he said prior to the elction. Now the saying is: lies, damn lies, statistics and Abbott. What he meant to say was he LIED, LIED, LIED, LIED. I am still amazed that those he expressed the vitriol against Gillard have been silent vis a vis the lies and broken promises from Abbott. One other point: the rank hypocrisy of Abbott when he rationalises the reason for his lies is due to "changed circumstances". Again, the hypocrisy of the complaints about the Senate is of the highest order given the reality of the Senate during the time of the Whitlam Government and more recently after Abbott refused to support a ETS even though he was part of a Howard campaign that went to the election in 2007 proposing an ETS. Abbott is nothimg more nor less than a LIAR who would say anything to get elected. |

Do you use the page from the ST that has Bolts article on it for dunny paper Swan, is that after you have forked out the $3 for it and the Botox Stories - go to coles mate - bulk buy dunny paper is probably cheaper. I think I have watched the Bolt report three times, its not bad if he has Pete Costello or some other guests, but I rarely watch it. Its probably marginally less bias than Barrie Cassidy on the ALPsiders, which I have now largely banned, mind you Gerard Henderson took that camp prat David Marr apart a few weeks ago which was great. The Senate is a constant problem for pretty much all Govts, what developing more recently is a nut job minor parties and low quaility Senators now with Power , the likes of Lambie , Ricky Muir and now we have some half wit from the Sex party in the upper house in Victoria. The body politic in this country is near collapse, reform is needed , when you have 1200 people voting for a moronic person that ends up holding the country or state to randsom just beause they rort the preference system - its time for a change. Yep the Lies they are told by both sides, I'm still waiting for Wayne Swans promised surpluses (great to see you dont care about those lies) , I'll stick my hand up and admit TA lied about the cuts, but I just dont give a toss I want him to fix the finances. |

TF the point is why are those who were most vociferous in their condemnation of the alleged broken promises made by the previous government singularly silent and not critical of the LIES and BROKEN PROMISES made by Abbott (and Barnett) since the last Federal election (and State election)? |

In the aftermath of the dumping of the first term Victorian Liberal-National Government their Federal colleagues are getting a wee bit testy and tetchy. Apparently J Bishop needs to be chaperoned by A Robb as though she is a debutante in a climate conferencee in South America. Though it has been reported that she wants to be the PM.
The knives are out for Hockey and from all reports Scott Morrison has delusions of grandeur. |
