The scary thing is this time Hammas bulldozed a wall and broke through the border where there was a music festival and kidnapped dozens of women.

That gives them some huge bargaining chips and puts Israel in a difficult position. Do they go hell for leather and bomb the shit out of Gaza and potentially kill their own? A ground invasion will see dozens of Israeli soldiers lose their lives. Horrible situation.

I think you are right - Depends how Iran take the massive Gaza crackdown, if they get fired up enough they might have a go at the Israelis - but they cannot win that one, plus the regime there will be looking for a popular war as its only just hanging on.

Russia is still active in Syria as well.

I wonder if israel will use barrell bombs like the arabs do against fellow arabs?
