WAG, you are not wrong, seems to be at odds with the notion of a closed border but I did read that FIFO's are coming in and out with a person going to a training course in Sic and being allowed to go back to work, seems closed means a ajar just a little bit! It is the same in SA and QLD

Having said that it still seems to be working and I am confident that we can mange it better than other folk can!

How that comp is still running in Vicco is beyond me - surely it has to be stopped purely out of safety concerns & lack of containment

sure I heard snippets of a report that maybe two players from a Vicco club have been caught breaching the Isolation protocols in place

makes it two bloody disappointing States over there

Perhaps and it is a big perhaps the AFL players with the exception of a couple of numpties have been listening to Mclaughlin and hence the better performance amongst the group than the broader population in Sictoria. Interesting that Sneakers has come out and laid the law down to them, come here fine breach the protocol you are out, no if's buts or maybe's.

I am all for having the game going ahead as long as it does not compromise our state!

There have now been players from 4 of those Vicco clubs (Footscray, Melbin, Essendon, Collingwood) caught violating the protocols put in place to keep that Vicco League going and hence keeping the bankrupt Vicco clubs going for another season.
That is the one's we know of or that have been caught out you can bet your bottom dollar there will be plenty of other Vicco players breaching these protocols as well.
They are totally taking the piss out of Dill & co at vfl house, the WA & SA clubs players who uprooted their lives for 6 weeks to keep the Vicco League & Vicco clubs from going under as the Viccos havent given up a thing as yet to keep their own comp going still living at home with mummy, cuddling their teddy bears (Danger, Reiwoldt & Cotchin) to sleep each night!!!

My understanding is and I'm no apologist for the VFL, the 2 Vic teams coming over are in iso for two weeks, but will play each other during that iso fortnight, after that like anyone else coming back from overseas and are re-tested after the iso, they are clear to play the 2 WA teams after the Derby (Phark I hate using that time honoured WA only term for VFL games). I hope they have plenty of security or Army blokes watching these blokes, anyone seen breaking iso should be on the first plane back to virustown.

and it took only 14 numpties to breach quarantine at one Hotel to get us all back here again mate
and these two players have done this not even a week after the Tullamarine fellow's performance
Makes it look a pretty deliberate act here

Totally agree mate.
I can see if we let these Vicco dimwits into the state they will fark it up for all of us West Aussies who have done the right thing over the last 4 months to flatten the curve and with the WAFL season only weeks away.
Dont let them in Mark, they have shown they cannot be trusted to obey the protocols in their own virus infested state let alone ours!

cannot see how this shambles of an AFL season can possibly limp through to October or November in the mess it is already in. Another 72 cases in Melbourne today and now we learnt that NT has a case that was brought from Vic apparently, so it is spreading from there given a chance, I dont like NSW chances with them having open borders of not going pear shape again either.

The quality of the footy is utter rubbish and I have stopped watching it, zero interest.

McGowan would be mad to let the Vics into here.

Its time for the AFL Budgies and Shox to suck it up can it and plan and pray for a covid free 2021.

Let the WAFL play in a bubble and we should be playing full 1/4s as well like SANFL.
