I cant remember an A Grade or B Grade side going through through the season with both their League & Reserves being undefeated.

Curtin Wesley look like achieving that milestone this year together with their two key forwards leading the goal kicking on 56 goals.

The danger for Curtin is getting the staggers and being tested in the finals, without necessarily having played under similar circumstances in the home and away.

It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out in the next few weeks!

Wesley had their 2 best players out on the weekend, combined 112 goals for the season.

Will be interesting if both make it back in time for finals.

Be a good game between ath and balla.

Anyone know what has happened to Kalamunda? Was A grade not too long ago but now struggling for wins in B. I'm looking at getting back into footy next season and they're an option for me but it's always concerning to see a club drop rather rapidly like they have

There was a good couple years of infighting when the new coach brought in strong recruits and upset the boys club. Clubs like Kalamunda need to realise you need to bring in talent to compete in A and B.

Interesting to hear, I wondered if it was something like that. Thanks for the insight

What happened to Whitford on Saturday? Heard they were 5 goals up in the second qtr and lost by 3? Also young Kurt Monaghan had blinder 1st half but showed the ball to the opposition while heading into a gimmie goal - was he thinking he'd iced the game in 2nd qtr? Looks like karma got him good.

MrM is getting back into B Grade talk early here, I do enjoy hearing stories like this, thank you Local Footy.

Almost as good as hearing the boys from Caversham were holding back tears after they found out they had to forfeit the Colts game because they cheated the week before.

Nice to hear from you again MrM. Saying Swan Ath cheated is very unfair. It was just a misread of a finals qualification rule. The player wasn't a top player and had only played a few games of Colts, 4 top colts and 2 in teh 2nd Colts. But because he had also played 1 B reserves game and not 5 in either colts grade he could only play in the higher team... Swan Ath read that as the higher colts team and didn't consider B Reserves the same as Colts comp.... well they learnt the hard way.

Unsure what you would call a breach of the rules then if its not called cheating...
You cannot half cheat, you either do or you don't.
As you said the did indeed learn the hard way.

Looking forward to seeing how the finals play out regardless
