Southee lives on.....again!

Southee gets 9 for match.. You knock him & he stars.. Dont knock Freo!

great result for the Kiwis especially after the thumpings they took from Australia. They are always hard to beat in their own conditions and they seem to have unearthed a good one in the giant Kyle Jamieson.

The Kiwis didnt mess about either wrapping it up well before Lunch with Southee and Boult picking up 9 of the wickets between them.
On to Hagley Oval in Christchurch now for the 2nd Test and its a pretty similar deck to the Basin Reserve from memory Freeze?

Pujara can't score , Kohli is poking outside off stump , Agarwal needs Rohit up top and Ashwin bowled pies
348 is going to win it

The Currys are gone mate still havent knocked off the defecit as yet and half the team are back in the shed including Kohli who failed yet again (has he actually scored any runs on this tour?)....flat track bullys!

they don't look sure about just what NZ pitches are going to do - and when their guns do play the big shot they're walking back toward the plates of sandwiches & gummy bears
and this has been going on for a few years now in NZ , maybe it is that they can't handle the cold weather countries after all

Gee the Kiwis continue to give the Currys a touch up over there in the Shaky Isles.
Once again ol mate Kohli has failed with the bat on this tour, that flat track bully moniker is going to stick around for a bit me thinks!

That big quicky Kyle Jamieson looks a find for the Kiwis Southy.

He was brought over as a reserve when Lachie Ferguson got injured in the Perth test but didn't manage to get on the park in Australia. Would have been interesting to see how he would have gone on our pitches

looks like he might be the new Jake Oram mate - very impressive start to his career for sure
India all at sea against him so far and he's flogged them with his bat as well

At Hagley as we speak, be interesting to see how the new Jacob Oram goes today with the bat....pretty sure Neesham and Anderson found the Oram mantle to heavy to hold....at 200 + cm Jameson does add a different angle to the NZ attack....just seeing Jamieson having some success at this level coming out of their Shield equivalent, makes me think how good will Cameron Green be?...though one can't deny Jamieson hasn't been a revelation....great start by the kid
