I see the WI beat Aust first up by 3 wickets....Aust bowled out for 170 odd in the 36th over....with 2 top order bats run out for backing up too far....one deflection off the bowlers hand and the other off the bowlers foot....another top order bat out gloving down the leg side.....Aust had WI 5/90 odd but couldn't seal the deal....Nigeria and Eng to play...only top 2 go through....gonna be tight

Disappointing result Freeze, the batting was pretty ordinary and it will be almost impossible to win the 19s WC now you would think.

Think they need to get WA youngster Cooper Connolly playing BH....amazing at 16/17 he is in the squad....2 run outs from the bowler deflection in their follow through off fully fledged straight drives is pretty unlucky mate...especially with Harvey the skipper being one of them....but yes agree the lower order batting was poor...depends how good the Poms are mate....

If they had batted the full 50 overs or close to it, they would have scored 220- 230 which would been enough as it turned out. Criminal not batting your overs out and hopefully the coaching staff are drumming that in to their young charges ATM

Well it looks like the Aust v Eng clash will decide who goes through with the WI to the quarter finals....Aust trounced Nigeria in 7 overs by 10 wickets....whist Eng fell short of WI 200 odd target....Aust hopefully will bat out their full 50....get a bit of luck next time with their backing up....and beat the poms....

India are currently playing Japan (would you believe) and have knocked them over for 41.
An interesting batting card where the top scorer and only one to top double figures was Extras with 19 (next best was 7).
It is good to see a big country like Japan playing the great sport of cricket these days but probably some way off being able to match it with the likes of India etc.
Not surprisingly India knocked off the 42 needed in a measly 4.5 overs.

Not a great start against the Poms who are 0/60 after 12 overs.

Sangha needs to do a "Lloyd Pope" with his 8/35 in this tournament 2 years ago almost to the day against the same mob!

ENG ended up making 252 from their 50 overs.
We will need to score our highest ever U/19 WC run chase to make that total.

jeez...I thought Fraser-McGurk was a bit stiff to be given out LBW when the ball hit him above the pad and looked like it was going down leg side. It's a shame they don't have DRS for these games as I reckon it would have been overturned.
