Good last point above Freeze as I always got the feeling Geoff Boycott played for Geoff Boycott 1st and England 2nd as he was more interested in preserving his average with a red ink not out than helping his side push the total along a bit quicker.

Boycott was also responsible for the stoic English openers that followed- Chris Tavare, Bill Athey, Mike Atherton etc some of those were corpse with pads on!!! :unsure:

There is also another video where Jon Agnew plays a joke on him regarding his 100th hundred from memory -- all very good.
