Well we are going into a reserve day with a full 50 over game. Not sure who this favours but I suppose that the Kiwis would be relieved that they can still bat for 3.5 overs to try and get their score as close as possible to 250. That still probably won't be enough to beat the powerful Indian batting although stranger things have happened I suppose. The weather still looks a bit dodgy for Thursdays semi final as well.

What a dull boring effort. 1 for 1 after too many balls. Bumrah was great. After ten overs NZ claimed the lowest score in the series
Gee it was hard to watch. If Kiwis bat on then Indians will need about 230 runs on a very slow outfield.. They should bolt in..

yes it wasn't the most interesting game. The Kiwis never really got out of first gear although you have to give credit to the bowlers particularly Bumrah and Kumar. Looks like Handscomb is in for the Aussies and now that Stoinis appears to have been passed fit, there is a suggestion that Wade may even slot in to replace Maxwell who has underperformed in the series ( apart from in the field)

Thought it was a cracking effort by NZ.....enjoyed every moment of it.....they have batted slow the whole WC, quite surprised they didn't bite the bullet and play Munro......not sure why Guptill deserved another go over Munro......oh well.....Looks like more rain for today.....NZ batters have 3.5 overs to get there eye in and score as many as they can.....against a fresh Bumrah and Kumar.....lucky to get another 20 I reckon.....Taylor had atleast had his eye in last night, so was able to up the tempo......De Grandhomme getting out with such a soft shot really scuppered any chance NZ if getting to 240-50.....weather permitting India will cruise this in.....if it rains they go through any how....win win I think

Stoinis is passed fit, not sure dropping Maxy is a wise thing....if Stoinis breaks down after 2-3 overs Aust have to find a bowler from else where....tho Wade can bowl a few medium pacers.....Maxy regardless of form will play I reckon as insurance if Stoinis can't bowl his 10....though in Wades current form I think Wade needs to play, plus also the Poms won't have a plan for him compared to Maxy.....

Drop Maxy...every other team has worked out he's inclined to play loose shots to short balls and his bowling average at best. For mine, Warner, Finch, Wade, Smith, Handscomb, Carey, Stoinis, Cummins, Starc, Behrendorff, Lyon.

Think the kiwis might be a bit unlucky.India looked a bit rattled at the end there. There fielding was a bit sloppy. And the ball was doing plenty with a chance of some early Boult wickets. The Nz batsman do have 2 more Bumrah overs. He didn't go on the Nz tour after AU.The kiwi batsman have never faced him become.

The sheep shaggers are all over the curry munchers in the 1st Semi with Rohit, Rahul and Kohli all back in the sheds.
I can’t see India getting out of this one so who will take on the Kiwis in the Final on Sunday now?

You were on the money there, Beas.
The talk this time last week was that whoever played the Kiwis in their semi-final had an automatic ticket into the final.
Now whichever of Australia or England wins tomorrow night (or Friday night, depending on the weather) will know they have a fight on their hands.
Had Jadeja stayed at the crease, I think India would've won.
However, I'm not so sure Dhoni would've got his team across the line, despite his great reputation as a "finisher".
Strictly hypothetical though, as the Black Caps finished off the innings in the same fashion as they started.

It might seem like a strange thing to say but I think Dhoni lost India that game. He put too much pressure on Jadeja to take all the risks due to his poor strike rate. Even in overs 44- 46 he was letting balls go or running leisurely singles when the required run rate was around 12. Jadeja played brilliantly but he was asked to take one risk too many. When Jadeja got out,all of a sudden they needed 15 runs an over which even was beyond the finisher. If he had pushed for a few boundaries in Neeshams overs they may have got home with an over to spare. Major choke by India to lose a game that they should have won. Credit to all the NZ bowlers especially Santner who dried up the runs at a critical stage.

One may have to think there are major bookmakers in India.
. Couldn't see India being 3 for 5 runs.
. Reeks of Hansje Cronje from Sth Africa.( please amend spelling)
