And how was the appalling booing of Mitch Marsh from the crowd whenever he came on to bowl....they are a different breed the Vic/Prics...talk about Un-Australian!!

I agree completely mate, and never once has a West Australian crowd booed anyone. They are the only state (the Vics) that has ever done it and its wrong.

they did boo Wayne Phillips, but with much better cause. I have never seen Handscombe hit the ball off the square in a test match at home; GR Marsh made three or four test hundreds and numerous scores in that range in one day cricket.

No excuse for booing Marsh...DISGRACE.

Why stop at the boxing day test, lets whack a horse race track inside the stadium and run the Melbourbe cup in it, better still whack a few roads in there and run the gran prix there Fair dinkum its a state of the art stadium YES, it only fits 60,000 in it.

Tongue in cheek there I'm pretty sure Ooolll, I was appalled at fellow Wildcats fans in the final decider against the Melbourne Tigers who just won their first championship back in the early 90's from memory. A lot of morons in the Entertainment Centre that day who booed Andrew Gaze and his team mates as their names were called out. Disgraceful!

Perhaps the Australian Open tennis could be moved there too, it is a cracking stadium (which would be even better if they let you sit in the areas which have shade). The Vics can have the Hopman Cup as a trade off, that should keep them happy with something to bleat about at the same time.

It was a bit, the one you have raised is the one I was thinking about. Perhaps one of the worst examples in Australian history, just goes to show that no-one is perfect when it comes to this and no-one should be the first up on the high horse. Unless they want the world to see that they are stepping down from a Shetland-ponyB)

I remember a fella called Adam Gilchrist getting booed by the West Aussie crowd on his first game for us, simply because he replaced our keeper TZ.

You’re talking like Cricket Australia unk. Let’s get 70,000 in and bore everyone shitless instead of getting 60,000 in and have an exciting game for the patrons. You’ve always talked about sport being a money making business, so this insistence on cricket at the mcg is just another example of it.

The boarfest continues at the Mcg.India scoring at 2.38 runs per over. Our bowlers are working there backsides off.Theres no movement in the air or off the wicket.India have put themselves in the box seat here. Its a draw or an Indian win from this point.
