maybe the best thing is to keep playing these 37 - 40 yo while this McDonald reign is forced upon us all - no way can that gymp be entrusted with a new generation of players

Unfortunately Southerner the forecast is for 32mm of rain,today in Manchester. Highly unlikely of any Saturday play.

So looks like they might get an hour or two in between breaks in the rain fronts. That may be enough to put this game to bed. 

No doubt a few disgruntled fans heading off to their beds tonight, esp with that current Aust scoreline and the Old Trafford weather. England's  game to win still and deservedly so. 

Be great if the two WA boys can continue the fight with what ever time is left in this match.....though it may confuse a few on here, with both being WA born n bred, and them possibility  facilitating the  Ashes retainment for the beleaguered R & P show.
