That august body the MRP thought the strike was worthy of sanction. Though it is somewhat remarkable that Ballantyne wasn't given 4-6 weeks for having the audacity to get the footy.

Of course I don't. When it comes to the MRP some players are more equal than others.

On one footy site on the WCE page there were Port Adelaide,Collingwood Western Bulldogs and yes even a Melbourne supporter bagging the suspension.
Oh and even Andrew Bogut tweeted taking the pi$$ out of the suspension,dont know who he barracks for but born in Melbourne i'll bet he's not an Eagle supporter.
