Cant happen as some dimwit coach would send his worse player out to get punched (or stage one)and call for the strecher. Its bad enough with some poor decisions made in the Hawks vs Swans match.

Do they still have it in the WAFL? I seem to remember Swans losing couple of players over the years. And now that I think about it, I am pretty sure Subiaco had a player sent off in a final against EP.

Stephen Handley was sent off disgracefully and wrongly by that crook O'Reilly in the 1991 Preliminary Final in the last qtr when scores were near level AR.

I remember Richard Maloney got reported twice in a game and was sent off. One was wrestling and something else which escapes me. He was found not guilty at the tribunal on both counts and after that the WAFL dispensed with the send off rule.
