It has been a blessing for Freo with Crowley out, they look a lot quicker & their midfield is more proactive. With Crowley in the midfield he never wanted the ball only worried about his opponent & now it's an extra mid that can get the ball & hence more scoring opportunities. I don't think he is missed at all so far & he may not be needed ever again. This could be the tonic that Freo just needed to win a flag.

Agree, same with Dawson i reckon!!

I still think Silvagni has a place in the side. Just needs to be given a decent run at it in the main team.

Could very well be right about Crowley though, They seem to have more positive run now for sure. I think him being out has allowed Lachie Neale to fill that void.

Cant get much bigger than Hawkins and clarke tho a/man

A/man Clancee Pearce has come in for Crowley Most assuredly Lachie Neale was already a part of the Freo best 22 last year.

Crowley might as well find a WAFL club now.

I just think that without worrying about negating one of the other teams mids they can have 3 proper attacking mids around the footy at each bounce. Freo have arguably the best midfield in the AFL so let other teams go head to head with them! Its not often they will come off second best.
