essendon still cant hide the fact that they went to such an obscene extreme with drugs (illegal or not) and injections to get an edge.

yes the AFL and ASADA and all those fools need to be held accountable, but it still doesnt hide the fact how ridiculous essendon were in this whole process. even mark thompson has said they are responsible for certain things in that report. he was not shying away from it completely . his words.

what a mess, what a shambles across the board.

As I have said on several occasions when there were calls for Jobe Watson to be immediately suspended, that there needs to be an end to the investigation before any players can be cleared or issued with any infraction notices. Hird et al have claimed, quite erroneously, that the players have been cleared based on the interim report. It is my understanding that the wording in the interim report was at the point of writing the interim report that no players would be issued infraction notices. Under no circumstances did this exonerate the players.

It would appear that there are several people involved in the drama or reporting of same who have vested interest and some are particularly conflicted. How Mark McVeigh's position can be tolerated on Sky's Sports programme is certainly a mystery to me. There is a huge conflict of interest.

Overall it would appear that very few parties involved in this will come out with an enhanced reputation. Certainly it would appear that Essendon, their players, ASADA and the AFL will have diminished reputations as a consequence of this.
