eagles no kerr,s.selwood.shuey or waters. wellingham would have been good for them but no go. besides this the eagles are not as good as people think. struggled all year havent they.

Pavlich lays a soft but careless bump on Brown and gets reported, yet Embley lands a game ender on C.Pearce and nothing which in fact ended up in a goal. Go figure???

ASH SMITH is a legend amongst the most useless and lazy footballers going around. He is pathetic and even Morton makes him look bad!

I agree Grump...how Smith or Morton get a game really tells you how bad the depth is at WC. Was impressed with Carter on debut though.

I have always said it but commentators like Healy get hard-ons talking about Gaff. He is one of the most over rated footballers going around. Never gets a hard ball and runs one way.

Priddis & Masten 26 touches but never damaging.

Anything positive to say about the game boys? I thought it was a pretty gutsy effort by the Eagles with so many players out against a top four team. Class showed in the end

In play Embley didn't look like he hit him in the head but slowed down it looked bad. Shown quite clearly by the fact not one dockers person went to him and remonstrated. It looked just a good hit until slow-mo replay. He'll get 2-3

Pavlich will get at least 4 and his is considered the worst by MRP with the player directly over the ball and he didn't slow down one little bit, turned side on makes it worse and that's basically a shirtfront. You're dreaming if you think it was soft.

Carter should get 2 weeks in advance for getting a good chip on Ballantyne.

Eagles were good but last quarter wasn't the kids who let them down. Masten barely touched it in the last and at 3/4 time was probably BOG and in line for the medal. Priddis went quiet, Embley after turning the game in the 3rd went quiet. The kids were good the seniors were average. Cox, Nic Nat poor.

How Mayne didn't win the medal is beyond me. Freo had a much better spread of players in the last which is why they ran away with it. Too experienced.

Dont know how you work that out Healy and Co were getting stuck into him and were saying he needed to get more involved.

Reckon and im only taking a stab in the dark here but when you are missing almost your whole midfield i reckon a bloke like Gaff who is still learning the caper suffers,not all mids are in and under types.Theres no doubt he is a "receiver" type midfielder and theres nothing wrong with that,all teams have one.

Agree on Smith..delist at seasons end i would think,bit harsh on Morton though,with all the injuries it stands to reason they need to have a look at him at some stage.
Yep Cater looks like he has something to offer.
