Once again he asks for a transfer to West Coast. It’s going to be pretty hard considering the draft pick order. Eagles have a couple of attractive trades (including Gaff even tho they said no), but the Cats want picks. Obviously Freo will be in the box seat, but it’s not home and hosed. Why would they draft a person that doesn’t want to be there? Still, it is Freo we’re talking about. If Eagles can’t get a deal done, TK would be better staying where he is or a great player could become an average player.

While I obviously hope he fronts up next year in blue and gold, I reckon it is a bit early to be bestowing greatness on him just yet.

The same goes for Pickett.

Nathan Vardy if Cats would want him back. The Eagles have Natanui, Hickey, young Williams and Brooksby.

Where do they find the space in what you would think is a very tight salary cap already.
Masten gone would free up a little bit but know where near the $800k Kelly is reported to be asking. Who else has to make way for this deal to happen. Possibly 2 or 3 players traded out.
What happens to Rioli’s contract if found guilty and suspended. (Won’t find that out before the trades have happened to help get Kelly)

Surely WCE 2019 first round pick and 2020 1st round pick plus a perhaps a Brander type as the steak knives compliment ...not sure Geelong would want Vardy .....would of thought pick 13 would get EF youngster in Luke Jackson for Geelong in the draft - outstanding ruckman in the making ....

All those picks get pushed back one. GC been given priority picks 2 and first pick in the second round.

Cats lose Ablett & Kelly therefore need a runner. Give up Gaff & pick 13 or a lower one..

I'm not sure I'd be selling the farm to get Kelly tbh LS. Sure he's a great player but then again so is Gaff. There must be other ways to pick him up other than trading one of the top 5 players currently at WCE.
