My mate and I have a great way to give up drinking. When Eagles play you can only have a drink when Gaff gets a kick inside the tramlines and add a day of sobriety if he gets a kick within 2 metres of the boundary. Friday nights result no drinks at all and 8 days of sobriety.

I will comment on umpires no matter who is playing.
Apart from my joke I don't think I managed to have a go at anyone, must just be Cats supporters who easily tend to go so low.

Dislike the umps AND the stupid rules and interpretations that go with it. What i also dislike is when teams have a VERY good run with the umps generally, tend to forget that, BUT when they dont they whinge about them.

Unlike a few here unk, I've never been one to study nor worry about umpire statistics - I'm more interested in player stats. I've said it before, what you get is what you get and whinging don't do nuthin about it! It just seems to me that the really good teams ala Hawks, Cats, Swans et el just play good footy and get a deserved fair run from the umps.
