What a shame. It's about time the eagles and their supporters realise they aren't as good as what they might have thought. They have more of their top players playing now then at this stage last year, do can not blame injuries. Yes nic nat can do good things but is very hot and cold(shouldn't have been all Australian) and also him and cox struggle against top opposition. They are going to struggle to make the 8 with the run home.

Agreed Rock. To be honest I was a supporter of the Eagles prior to the introduction of the new alignments. I got a large degree of satisfaction from the touching up Richmond gave the Eagles tonight. I can honestly say that I hope the Eagles & Dockers enjoy no success this year & while these full alignments remain in place from 2014. Unfortunately the Dockers are doing very well at present.

Bunch of very bitter people here.

I don't know what the Eagles stood to gain with playing on Monday.
They would've got 38000 on any day.
The WAFL numbers still looked consistent.
Anyone know why the Tigers wore their home strip?

football is bigger than just people getting through the gate for the eagles and other big clubs.
tv exposure is what the Eagles got out of playing on Monday night - sponsors and advertising....
