Reported on 6PR late this afternoon that there will be no home final for WCE due to issues surrounding visiting team quarantine. AFL will announce on Tuesday.

Not the AFL, it's the WA government who's stance on border protection I fully endorse. I'll happily sit back and watch the game live on TV in the comfort of my own home.

So we get a home game if the Eagles finish 5th or 6th. If they finish 3rd or 4th (highly unlikely), then no home game.

No home game no matter where they finish due to our border restrictions.

AFL confirmed eagles get a home game only if the finish 5th or 6th. Brad Hardy with his hand on his knob again just hoping the eagles get shafted as he hates them.

OK thanks Viper my info was a bit old, wonder how they will handle the quarantine for both teams coming back from over east if they do get the home final. The lockdown would have to be pretty severe as they wont be able to have the "normal" 2 weeks iso. Some Vic clubs have shown they cant be trusted. Could very well be the Pies who have a bad record on that front.

Dont the afl have a week off between the last round this weekend and the first week of the finals?
There is enough time for the 14 day quarantine if they leave for Perth straight after this weekends game.

Thanks for the confirmation Viper, that’s what I read too. As for Hardy, yeh, he’s a knobhead with SMS. One of the reasons I won’t listen to PR sports.

Three things about tonight’s game. 1. Eagles will go out in straight games without their A team. 2. They will be outclassed by Richmond and Geelong. 3. The afl are serious about holding a twilight GF in that qld slop???? FFS, don’t they realize this game is watched around the world?? Great spectacle.....not!!

Yep must get Shuey,Yeo and Redden back into the midfield McGovern doing what he does and Cripps back into the forward line otherwise they won’t go past week one.
Also agree on the twilight GF,the scoring drops right off and it’s not one touch football,the footy is like a cake of soap!
