if we went to the licence model we would still have the bloody Peel problem -- but the old version where it lost all the time. The answer, for me at least would be to abolish them or one merger. We need to get back to eight teams.

Just doing a bit of research. Checked out last zone boundary review - from 2009. Final outcome, Subiaco suburb gains koondoola, mirrabooka, Darch, marangaroo, landsdale, madeley, Wangara, pearsall, gnangara and hocking. Losses nil,

Perth gains nil, losses southern river.

Check it out, it’s on the web.

STT: you lost 'southern river' to compensate South for losing areas to, guess who, Peel
On subi, there has only been three good footballers come out of that region, which Subi ganined:

Chris lewis
Dean laidley
Chris Stazza

Honestly stand the test, why do you think EP have fought Swans for part of their zone?

Don’t worry about past these are new growth areas - of which PFC have exactly none.

STT: potentially -- I agree on perth lacking a growth area
Bease: it dried up a bit after the early 1980s -- imagine having Lewis your zone and being unable to pick him?

Bit late talking of zones when no-one is attending matches.
Only 66o I believe rocked up to Fremantle Walyalup oval last week and not even a thousand to the previous Home match of Souths.
And no better at the Arena last weekend either where we had the HUGE attendance of 800.
Could you imagine the storm it would create if less than a thousand turned up for the Tennis, the big Rugby match played last week or the Soccer!
You may as well wave bye bye to the Wafl. The bloody Wafl is dying and nothing positive is being done to bring it back!

Some alarming Attendance figures for Fremantle Oval in 2019 (Note: I havent looked into other venues)

‪LOWEST CROWDS AT FREMANTLE OVAL SINCE 1945!‬

‪666: SF v WCE R12, 2019**‬
‪674: SF v P 1965‬
‪852: SF v Peel 2003‬
‪941: SF v WC R5, 2019‬
‪989: SF v S 2013‬
‪995: P v C 2017‬
‪998: SF v S R11, 2019‬

Three of the lowest attendances have occurred this season, twice involving West Coast and once the top of the table clash!

‪The introduction of the Eagles reserves side was supposed to increase attendances?
