Some of our "big name players" were ordinary far too many turnovers with panic disposals.
Maybe they are no longer our big guns.
The Simpson Medal sums it up I guess.

Can't see any reason for Subi to go undefeated in 2019.

And also teach our team how to kick straight today would have helped.
South Australia having 20 scoring shots to our 28. Then the visitors having 15 less Ball Disposals Ins 50 is also telling.
A good tight game of footy throughout apparently.
Well done to both teams.

Disappointing day all around. State game was a good contest between two evenly matched state teams but once SA came back from 22 points down to be within a kick at half time, then we kicked away early in the third before SA got going again they ran over the top of us and we were playing catch up after that. We turned the ball over too much and they killed us on the counter. We probably pushed up to high and they had a couple of speedsters that killed us.

Obviously not enough Perth players selected. Sinclair was one of WA's best down back I thought, more than held his own and Bennell made the most of limited opportunities. Tony Notte made a howler in the 3rd qtr kicking across the SA half forward line to a two on one, they scored from it .
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Burner's pace would have come in handy.

Saw bits and pieces of the game while at a mothers day gig, early on Bennel looked like tearing the game apart and we moved the ball well but SA obviously have learned from past lossess by bringing over a team loaded with pace which was the difference in the end along with their ball use efficiency. Only 7 points in the end. Interesting to see their Ruckman got their BOG medal, really dissappointed that Higgins didn't want to play, as i have said before, one of my favourite opposition players and clearly the best ruckman in the comp, his skill and physical presence could have mad. the winning difference. I haven't seen the perth ruckman play yet but by all reports he is one of the comps best so cant understand why he wasn't selected when Higgins pulled the pin.

SS Eyres has improved out of sight this year.
Seems a lot fitter and more mobile and picking up a lot more possessions.
The improvement is testament to his obvious hard work.
With due respect not sure he is quite at this level IMHO.

DD sometimes you give a bloke like that, who must be playing with plenty of confidence a chance and they excel.

I watched the game and was surprised Knoll got the Medal. Looking at the stats confirms it, Gault was one of our better players , as was Delahunty. They both had over 20, just as many hit outs. We also split clearances. Odd choice for me. Eyres?? Spare me. He’s not up to it- Knoll is 203cm
