If only the WAFC paid our player payments for us back then we might have been able to keep those players instead of them all leaving to go to Subi, WP, Peel etc Leedy!

Here's my thoughts on the EP situation from a couple of hours ago. I wonder if Bronte negotiated these concessions at the start as a condition for agreeing to be aligned as EP would have known from the outset they would be considerably weakened when the alignment ended? Given how weak as piss the WAFC is...it wouldn't surprise me.

I have to put my EP hat on and say I think it's perfectly reasonable for concessions here - yes there's money in the bank - but the squad lacks experience due to the obvious reasons.

That said I agree with Grump that I wouldn't want to see the club take too much advantage of it - if it all.

Lessons need to be learnt from the past - don't spend too much on players - there's some great talent in the reserves and players that have stuck it out deserve some game time.

The other anomaly is that it was earlier reported that a previous CEO (David Crute) was reported as not disclosing details of the magnitude of the debt to the Board during his tenure? .....Where has that line of investigation gone?

Its got fuck all to do with me, Falcon or any WPFC Member. It is what it is, we can't impact the direction the board took other than expressing our views at the meeting a month or so ago. I still haven't heard any of you give me another option of how this could have been handled ???

yes, either go into adminstration and make the finals with no penalty or miss out and manage your funds accordingly..
if the WAFC dont impose a penalty on WP in regards to salary cap for a few years or a points deduction next year its an absolute joke.
