Nothing has changed with the State Gov re infill demands.

The WACA already had a plan in place.

you are the expert Bazza - you tell me about the re-development plans for the Bassendean area..
hopefully you can provide something post the 2010 ones you put up before that are no longer valid.

as for the WACA - please post who is paying for the redevelopment.

Whether the state govt can sell the pieces of land they plan to sell. And I think they were going match the price. If my understanding is correct? That is what it hinges on.
Heard the state government figure of 20 to 30 million for the blocks of land is what they are hoping for? I'm no realtor's expert, that price sounds too high. Everything seems to have gone quiet on the proposal in recent times.

The vision 2030 , doesn't require sale of the land until completion of stage 1 , which is the Re Ovalling of the pitch to allow for Football games again.

the possible WACA re-development is still being scoped and as yet has no funding commitments from state and/or federal govt.
any land sale requires the approval of the WACA members.

Let's start with the obvious: a WAFL game cannot be played at the WACA at this point in time.

Secondly I notice in the article Bazza provided a link it is dated 2017. It also includes the DISGRACEFUL DESIRE of channel 7 to play WAFL league games on a Thursday. What an absolute DISGRACE to expect WAFL players to play on a Thursday evening and then go to work on the Friday.

I can think of several places where I would like to send the WAFC.

Thought BC's comments were pretty spot on, Bassendean isnt exactly central, the ground would need a small fortune to get it up to speed, does it have any lights? And its pretty much dead around the ground, bar Red Rooster.

How would you know what is around Bassendean because you dont go there from what you have said in the past?
