What you need to consider is that by covering what's happening with these two ex AFL players down at Shark park, is showing that they value the WAFL comp by making the commitment to be involved with EF, same as Crowley would have done at Swans, make no mistake if Crowls had stayed at Bogundean there would have been some coverage of what he was up to out there.

Youngsters who might have seen the coverage may think that "gee these guys are former AFL champs and are involved with the WAFL, maybe I'll take some more interest."

Every iota of coverage in whatever form is a positive .... even if it's not about Swans!!

Not surprised that the swans supporters are whinging - probably peed off because they weren't the centre of attention. Get over it, you're just 1 of the G7 clubs.

Hopefully Stavros is building close bonds with SD senior playing group like he did at EF.....great coach, lots of experience and never loses his rag apparently......hopefully Wiley has similar attributes....

58S the point is that if they actually used the presence of McPharlin and Matera to highlight some exciting East Freo youngsters rather than just focus on McPharlin and Matera is my POINT. It is similar to what I saw of the TV coverage last season: it was all about who was, who is or who will be an AFL player.
