boycott by whom? by those of us who use this site for some spirited banter and basically to talk WAFL footy or a boycott by someone with less than a dozen posts where each one has been an exercise in denigrating others and using pseudo foul language in its most basic form? boycott all you like but you'll be on your own and Oz Footy will be all the better for it..

IMO I think most readers took Gremars (Granma) posts as nothing more than a piss take and I think some here have overreacted. Hell even I made Grandma's top 10 and I thought it was quite funny light hearted banter.

Don't take it to heart, I saw a Justin Bieber Roast recently on tv and we are talking Mega Stars absolutely slinging shit at each other on national, sorry global television. UNEDITED.

Think we need to lighten up and not take it all so seriously. I reckon most of us were hanging out for Grandma's No 1 most hated!

mate to be perfectly honest...I also thought Gremar coming on here might be a few laughs based on the FG experience but the problem with someone like Gremar is that they need to keep upping the ante to stay funny or relevant...almost like a radio shock jock getting more and more out there just to stay ahead of the game. I'm no psychologist but imo these types want to be the centre of attention and to do that they need to get further out into left field otherwise they just become boring, irrelevant and no-one reads their stuff. The problem with that is that eventually they cross the line which is what we have here. For example, someone posted on the amateur thread asking for umpires in 2016 which Gremar high jacked...very poor form. I sense Gremar is quite young and probably should be cut some slack but when you post some of his stuff on a public forum you do leave yourself open.

sorry 4eva but I think George got it absolutely right. this is a footy forum not a vehicle to post bad language and denigrate people. yes, we all like a bit of fun and at times the discourse gets a bit rugged between supporters of different teams but that's what footy is all about...supporting your team no matter what... I guess I struggle to understand why someone would post this sort of crap on a footy site. I'm sure there's other sites that will accommodate that sort of thing. the top 10 countdown could have been very humorous if Gremar had stayed away from the bad language and insults.

Alternately might I suggest that Gremar is allowed to continue to post on Ozfooty under the condition that he does so under the Peel Football Club threads
