After a story that included the most serious allegation of possible fraud committed by the WPFC written by Steve Butler on Saturday, it is now Monday and there has not been one statement released by WPFC denying the allegations or by any other WAFL club denying the contents of the story or in support of WPFC.

what, you reckon they are going to put something in the West about it ?
WP have responded via their Pres.
all this has shown is the incompetence of the WAFC - why hasnt this been sorted out by now ?
they have been talking about this since the start of the year and it isnt sorted, ch9 the big winners out of this.

Bet you tried stirring up a few Bee's nest when you were a kid Bazza. You are forgetting today is Monday, plenty of Puff pieces in the West about there "love childs" the Eagles and a public stoning of Peel, no room for anything else.

And why would West Perth respond through the West who surely have a conflict of interest

Gee Bazza dont you think the Club would of been getting ready for the Prelim on Saturday?
Not only that WPFC has no obligation to the West Australian to reply to their vexacious article. Considering the West is not printed on Sunday when would and how would they have responded?

The WA TODAY News had a article that if you read it is basically a reply anyway.

Steve Butler is just yet another ill informed muppet/Puppet at Seven West along with Duffield,Lewis and Clownsend. These blokes are a disgrace to their profession with their bias reporting against West Perth

The likelihood is that this will end up in court when the season is over, both sides have dug in so really nothing more to be gained from conducting this battle in the media. Lets just focus on the footy FFS!

Also why weren't WP present at the briefing along with all other clubs

One positive is if this all goes to court in the off season at least the WAFL will get some big headlines that we wouldn't normally get
