Anyone else notice how boring the eve of the finals feels with the lowest drawing teams in finals and 2 alignment clubs, I cant remember such a low key build up without much interest especially with Peelmantle being quarter strength..yawn..Only hope really is for a Perth Derby GF even if the rivalry has diminished thanks to the alignment
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

not really its about the same , the only difference is the entire state is preoccupied with the prospect of the two local AFL clubs playing 1 and 2 in th finals which is the first time it has happened and the real prospect of a derby afl gf.

expect the media and local footy public to go into hyperventaliation.

wafl is not even on the radar would not matter who was playing these days.

apart from that its business as usual for the 3000 people that give a toss about wafl.

Interesting though that the WAFL site froze during the last quarter of the West Perth V Claremont game on Saturday. I suppose many people might say that's not unusual but I thought that the site may have got overloaded as the game at Joondalup went down to the wire. Maybe there are a lot of people in the community who are sleeper WAFL fans who still have an interest in the competition and keep an eye on their teams fortunes via the internet. The challenge is to try and get them interested enough to come to the games.

The WAFL site has been an absolute piece of shit this year mate - the times I've had to use it due to being at work I've found it to be the slowest site I've ever used ever or it just crashes entirely

On the eve of the Finals and one could almost ask the question of, is it Finals time? Have not heard mention of the Finals in any of the media, news reports or talk back radio! All very disappointing! Yet the media have plenty of time for reports on the basketball, silly antiques in the tennis, all the rugby stories under the sun, all about the cricket, basketball in the USA and even the American gridiron. But the big Finals being played just down the road, and not one word mentioned of it?!

That is correct. The Wafl website is most unreliable. Not sure what the problem is there?

Take a look at the plays they pick for 'plays of the week' - 2 to 3 of the 10 are actually worthy. I'm not suffering on the players chosen but Rather the fact that most of the marks/goals/plays aren't what I would call 'of the week'. I would suggest any supporter at any game they attend could choose 2 to 6 moments of a more spectacular nature

The stats page is a nightmare -
count the stats on any player your watching at a game and then compare to the site...

Sadly WP it seems are getting less light shone on hem even here from the WAFL, but Ill leave that to other observers

Your better off going to the 'Footy Budget' site, direct, to download the weeks booklet unless you want too wait for the actual day of the game to download from the WAFL site

It woud be nice to have links to radio stations presenting games

need I go on???

That weekly WAFL Top 10 has got to be a piss take Growler the mark of the year taken by Tony Notte wasn't even included in the 10 that week  it is like the weekly work experience kid at WAFC HQ gets the task of putting it together each week as they have no farken idea :S ..and as for the voice over girl if she got any more excitable a funeral would break out and or a party at Bazza's place!!
