Subiaco V West Perth. Close first half before Subiaco pulls away in the 2nd. The only thing that will beat the Lions is complacency like what happened to Claremont in 2013.

WP to defeat Claremont this week, SD to scrape in to the finals in 5th place and then go on the greatest winning run in recent finals memory with less than one goal victories all the way thru to the big day where we will face Subi in the big one. Robbo to miss a shot for goal after the siren to win the game and black and white fans to go nuts.....Simpson medal winner Matty Rogers.....,oooooooiiiiiieeee Dream a little dream....why not

big statement there mike. the only thing to have beaten subi so far this year would be WP, SD and WART...so not a done deal imo.

Absolutely agree BC, not a done deal but there is a very good reason why Subiaco are 3 games clear at the top of the ladder with a % of 176 and that is because they are the best team in the competition by a fair distance. But as you say history is littered with raging favourites that fail on the big day. 2014, 2010....etc. Correct me if I'm wrong but were Subi long odds in that 1973 GF because West Perth had beaten them 4 times during the season? Anything can happen on a given day for sure but if Subi play anywhere near their potential on GF day no one will touch them I reckon.

I like the scenario DW; not sure the heart would take 4 games in a row by fewer than 6 points.
