You would have to think that Connor Blakely would have polled some Sandover Medal votes playing for the Fremantle reserves' team.

Great story of a player nobody wanted, was too old and too slow .... and too bloody good!! and probably the only bloke that might sneak past Fyfe given he wont play anymore games before the finals.

AFL players can win.

Matt Priddis made his AFL debut in 2006. The same year he won the Sandover Medal at Subiaco

AFL players can win.
