I have seen SF a few times this year, they lost both games. I find them abit hard to gauge. SD are similar to SF and their battle at Fremantle Oval in Saturday should be a real beauty. The only chance Ive had to see WP is on TV, but that's not an option. However I sense Subi will feel a little wobbly playing the cardies in September. I think WP can lift on the day and that may be the challenge for Subi.

I agree WCE & FREO will have all their players in cotton wool come September and EP & Peel will be a lot thinner. I cant see them challenging as a result, if in fact they make it. They may even rest their AFL players leading up to September so it is no given EP or Peel even make the finals. Oh the joys of the alignment. Cant have your cake & eat it.

If they give away 10,000 free tickets, all going well a massive crowd of 4500 might turn up, the incredibly powerful Subi supporter base that never ceases to amaze wity their vibrant support at venues across the metro area, should pack out their traditional heartland GF day complete with cheer squad and inner city metrosexual latte sipping types that are the very pulse of wafl footy.

Steady steady now don't go crapping on about my team without looking at your own.

Subi have a reasonable group of supporters but no barackers.
You know like all the South barackers who come to watch a derby once a season then pitter patter back home never to be seen again for another year ???

Also if you guy's are winning your crowds go up big time but get done a few games and everyone stays home ???

I'd hate to know the number of times i've asked people who they go for in the WAFL and they say South but they don't go to the games ???

Also you guy's don't get much of a crowd when you travel away - i've noticed you like to all watch your home games ???

Subi's base is small but we go rain hail shine , win or get done over we're there.
We've all seen us get flogged enough over the years so no need to flog us on this site as well ???

We'll give as good as we're given !!!

You said one thing that rang true, Subi supporter base is small, leave it at that.

East Petth and Peel are unlikely to challenge given that the Eagles and Dockers will be deep into the finals and the other contenders just don't have enough depth to be serious threats.

Subi supporters can attempt to downplay it as much as they like but they are the facts.

Yep thats the sum of things, better book GF tickets now, the pulse around the city with the exciting prospect and the atmosphere it engenders with Subi playing in it will be pulpable!

Jardine like to think SF have a chance but to realistic , going down to WP and although we werent totally disgraced v Subi, I feel we just dont have to goal kicking power to beat them , Saunders is a huge loss for us.

And your like a pack of dogs working in numbers !!!

Just curious where did you Swannies pick Subi to finish at the start of the season ?
Not too many tipped them for a flag i would think and they're far off from winning it yet. We had a thread on the ladder predictions earlier didn't we ?

Subi like every other team at the start of the season were aiming for a flag.
Just as Swans were and still are.
Subi have by no means got the flag sewn up as all you floggers well know.
We're only half way through the season and we've all been around long enough to know that a flag isn't won in June !!!

The season is long and subi look good now and would be favorites but don't have it in the bag ???

If Subi fail to win the flag then they will be disapointed but so might seven other clubs I would think ???

Everyone starts the season with one aim and there's only one prize - i't up for grabs. First two teams have to deserve to get in the GF then someones gotta earn it on the day. And on the day is the key word as we all know anything can happen on the day - we've all seen it.

So stop your crapping on - What a shit, waste of time topic !!!

Chopper I certainly didn't mean to hit a raw nerve with you as I obviously have by initiating this topic. I thought ( and I still do) that it was a legitimate issue to raise as Subiaco have dominated the competition this year. All you have to do is look at the premiership table. It is rare for a team to be 3 games and a massive percentage clear of the rest of the pack at this stage of the season and they have done this with many of their best team unavailable.

I agree with your point that many things may well happen to prevent Subiaco from winning the flag, injuries, motivation all those sorts of things and I did make that clear in my original post that raging favourites have been beaten in September.

This forum is here for people to raise issues that they think are topical and/or controversial in the world of footy and for others to share their views. They are opinions nothing more or less and no more or less worthy than your opinions. A lot of stuff written on here is banter, some of it a bit of fun, some serious but often it may be people having a crack at other clubs. Just because you don't like some of the things that have been said about Subiaco on this thread doesn't make the whole thread crap as you put it.

Lighten up and don't take it so personally.

Don't worry all good. You haven't hit a raw nerve.
If people go fishing they expect to catch something though ???
I'm into the banter - you can't see a smile when your punching a keyboard ???
Love the site - Love the topics but honestly to say Subi have it in the bag we all know is rubbish - that's my point and my opinion but don't worry I'm still sleeping at night. Carry on.

WP oh what short memories we have... Lucky to win at Leederville last game.. 7 points in it with 10 to go... WP stronger and it was a shit of a game.
This week will tell the story. Possibly not a WP win if all doesnt go right but will be there at the finish.
Key players Manning and Adams will make the difference.
Looking forward to it.
Match plan important and after last weeks game will have to kick straighter.
WP defence will match Subi it will come down to a forwards game whereas with SF it was a Defensive game.

EP will be the ones to beat this year... 2 losses in GF v G7 clubs and will be due for a win. But then it wont be a WAFL GF will it?
This message represents the official view of the voices in my head

The finals will certainly be more than interesting and with bothWA AFL Teams likely to be in them, their input to both WAFL reserves teams will also be greatly anticipated and could very well inhibit winning opportunities?? Time will tell

I agree that Manning and Adams will be the catalyst for win or bust this week. I can guarantee Kody will get a tag and Addams will find pressure from $ubis brain trust due to their exceptional games and influence on outcomes ...

I saw another gear in K Mannings game last week... Interesting to watch how he develops that and Adams has a wonderful ability to consume the balls entering oppositions forward fifty.
It's going to need another Peel style game play application but the teams more than up to it - it's in their hands and minds. To win or drop the ball this week

Lastly - with the jumpers for this round ... Not sure what the idea was but I have to say it's pretty boring in its colour concept - split in half vertices slashes ..... These days there are wonderful creations to consider, I think this one might have been a put them on a wall and throw darts pick ...... This one I fear must have been the loser and got confused as the winner hahaha ...

Any way - on the day we will certainly not get the teams jumpers confused so all good there!!
