Didn't really see it to be honest, but McInnes was not the player. The umpire paid a free kick so he must have seen the contact. Probably knows that it's a waste of time reporting AFL players for minor offences.

LB I thought it was McInnes but as I said I didn't see the incident only the aftermath, if I have the EP player wrong my apologies, it was either him or the other big Eagles lad who played ruck/full forward.

Did you happen to see it?

SS, I am pretty sure (95%) that it was Brant Colledge and no one around me saw it as the ball was further up the ground. Also there didn't seem to be too much protesting from the Subi players.

Also, it happened right in front of the goal umpire looking straight down the ground, and as no report was made, he obviously didn't see anything either. The only two who know the real story are the two players involved and I don't presume they will be telling.

Also, I think Yarran would consider himself very lucky if he gets only two weeks as he was in the air when the incident happened and the Tribunal take a dim view of that.

Could well have been Colledge, but thought he wasn't that big. Anyway it's done and dusted and we move on.

Yes OTO it didn't look good, that's a part of his game he needs to straighten out, Schoefield was at him all day with the niggle but that's what tagger defenders do and get away with all the time, Yazz needs to deal with that. He showed what a damaging player he is as he was well held most of the day, had rubbish delivery from the mids and still managed 3 goals.

Well, I must apologise to Colledge. I have just watched a replay and I am glad I didn't say I was 100% certain because it was NOT him.

And there was a little bit of remonstrating from some Subi players.

But the East Perth player's identity is not a secret for anyone who has the match on tape.

It was Tunbridge and shock horror has not even been sighted despite having a past record of similar offences.
Grassy made a point of ithis situation on Maumill's Sunday program on 6PR & was poo pooed by those 2 AFL sycophants Maumill & Hackdorn!
Unsurprisingly nothing has happened in regards with footage of the incident from 7 who also happen to be a WART sponsor!

On review One time only was the incident worthy of a weeks suspension or did the opposition player stay down for dramatic effect.

I can't comment because I didn't see it happen and no-one round me saw it either. We were following the ball further upfield. I only saw the after events with the Subi player on the ground and a little bit of pushing and shoving.

The only people who could comment would be those sitting behind the goals, the goal umpire and the two players involved.

Cardy not sure you're the expert you think you are.
But I can assure you that Billings was on the umpires hit list.
Thus the numerous charges either withdrawn or thrown out.
Most of the ones I've seen were hard attacks on the ball and nothing else, and yes he has done some silly things as well.
In my opinion he is an underrated player who is hard at it, and has to fight out of his weight too often.
And he has modified the way he plays.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!
