From memory when Swans last won a colts flag the next year they won a ressies flag then the next year the league played a losing grand final. (I think?)

Swan Districts won the reserves flag in 2006, the colts in 2007 and 08, were runners up in the league in 2008, and lost the league Preliminary Final in 2009, before winning the league premiership in 2010.

Cheers for that I stand corrected. some of those colts boys from this year are going to be cracker players for the seniors going forward.

EF stocking up on more 2nd /3rd tier recruits......Julian Locantro from EP and Baldhave Singh from Subi (?)...any of those clubs fans have an inkling who they are? Both players new to the EF website it says Singh is from Rossmoyne but definitely wearing a Subi jumper in his mug shot.

Yeah, he left before round 1. But he looked ok in the ressies during pre-season. A raw talent that could be developed if he sticks with it this time.

So you've recruited a good ressies player but shouldn't you be looking for good league players.

EF were a good side towards the back end of the year when they hit their straps but were maybe 1 or 2 experienced guys from taking the next step. Maybe a good key forward?? the midfield looked well above the standard.

Who knows turtle EF could have up to 6 delisted AFL boys come after the draft........time will tell I guess?.....if not them personally the money for their tsfrs at least.

If it pans out that all or some of those guys come back then you'll have some handy additions no doubt. Just the experience and knowledge they will bring back rubs off on the rest of the squad.
