Since the year 2000 alone Kepler Bradley, Matthew Spencer, Andrew Ruck, Ryan Brabazon, Ian Richardson, Adam Cockie, Aaron Elari, Tom Ledger & Dean Kent have all carved out pretty good WAFL/AFL careers despite winning a Clarkey I would have thought!

geez BH that is an impressive list, but bar Elari, most of those fellas are a tad taller than 173 cm sadly ............though I am happy to retract my comment fully.......Alby has a lot to live up to then mate .......perhaps the JC medal isn't cursed as I'm making it out to be......may Alby have a prosperous career after all!!

Sorry fellas I realise those boys I mentioned above haven't had the stellar careers like the household names of Graham Ralph, Matthew Cremin, Andrew Green & Jacob Green but I would have thought actually making it to AFL level & or playing a fair bit of WAFL LEAGUE footy you would be considered somewhat a half decent footballer!

Plenty of little fellas in the votes Dean, Perry is a good little rover, Hille is very good and one of the other lads Hinchcliffe in the Aus 19's for cricket.
Hope they all have good careers if not that's life and well done on their year

bit harsh on Jacob Green there BH......the kid has just completed his first year out of the colts and trying to break into EF greatest strength......time will tell though if he will make it.....just like Alby I guess......and yes...... SDFC are the greatest club for promoting their youngsters......blah blah blah.....so Alby is in the best place for being developed

disappointed to see Alby didn't get a under 18's run this year considering how shite the team played......what do you reckon was the reason for this mate?....didn't Blakely and Anderson miss a game or two for the u/18s with injury.....thought Alby could of slotted in there......pretty bemused why he didn't get a run considering his form this year, was picking up some pretty big stats in most games......good to see Ansey get a colts team of the year gig, he sounds pretty exciting from all reports......to me he seems to have more upside development wise than Alby wouldn't you think?......bit like that rising star scenario we talked about

as for those EF winners you mentioned.....don't think I have ever said I rated them in the first place.....bar Jacob Green......
