BC wrote: yep...agree with your last. i'm really concerned this years GF is going to be a disaster in terms of crowd numbers. if subi get up this week, i'm still not sure if i'm going or not out of principle...i probably will as its hard to change behaviours after 50 years of supporting subi but also think there's some mileage to make out of sending the WAFC a message by having the smallest turnout in recent years. one thing's for sure, with WART playing there'll be more of the crowd outside on the pavement having a smoke during the breaks than inside. ;-)

You right about the diasster, if fact it could be that big a disaster it could be embarrasing actually being there , if you know what I mean, that feeling WTF am I actually doing here when everone with a life has moved on and told the WAFC to shove it,

you'll still get the delusional former EP supporters there who have convinced themselves the beag players are there for the jumper and glory of representing the ferals...but quite frankly I'm going off the idea of having anything to do with the contrived bullshit that is the alignment and any game in which an aligned team is involved.

BC wrote: I'm not surprised 42. It must be doubly hard for old timers and traditionalists like Percy. If Subi does get past EF I might have to go due to ressies playing as well...not sure...still undecided. If we don't get the senior side in the GF then I definitely won't be going.

BC I will like a number of Swans' supporters will go to support our Colts' team and them most likely leave.

I don't blame you 42...I reckon a lot of the die hard WAFL supporters who used to go to the GF regardless of which teams were playing will stay away in droves.

I would like to see either Subi or EF bust their guts to get a few goals lead in the first half and then Totally flood the EP forward line to make it impossible to play open football. Take it to the extremes..making a mockery of the game.
I suggest only loyal Subi OR EF supporters turn up to keep the crowd down possibly the lowest ever. They in turn could vent their feelings throughout the them game which will effect the EP players and take their minds off the game.

It could turn ugly but so what.. The WAFC/WAFL will get the message and have to bring in sweeping changes if not just drop the whole idea.

It will be a game between the pretenders and the real WAFL.

Looking forward to todays game as it will be the real WAFL GF as far as I am concerned and the winners will be My WAFL premiers.

Nice Cardy...Inspiring words on a Sunday morning....what a perfect opportunity for today's winner to represent the G7 coalition by refusing to play against the AFL team next week....will not happen of course but imagine if it did....an empty stadium with one team standing out in the middle of the ground would be the perfect end to this alignment model....hijack the hijackers !!!

LOL most probably the end of the team who didnt turn up.. Shit would that include the reserves as we a playing Subi in that game as well and we havent won a Ressies since 1960 I think?.

I will be attending the reserves game and then having a few beers with the Reserves in the bar after the game Win lose. Might have a look at the TV screen occasionally but only because it is there..
