We can boycott em all we like, but the little grocery store (WAFL) will be blown away.

I too am considering boycotting the WAFL. I can't see much the WAFC or the AFL teams will give that will make it a happy outcome for all apart from going back on their decision, but I can't see that happening.

A long time SFFC sponsor has decided not to sponsor the club this year because of the host club situation and the fact that he doesn't believe that anyone will beat EP / Peel so what's the point.

I'll be pissed off (as they say) for as long as this lasts. Going by the talk it will be for a far too longer time, if not reversed. So what is the outcome and where do we see the Wa Football landscape being like in 2, 5 , 10 years time.

These are the questions I would like answered:

1, if nothing changed and everything stayed the same,


2, if there was another club for the weagles and peel stayed as the aligned club (competitive based)

3, if the alignment goes forward with the 5 dwarves and 2 giants (oops couldn't help myself) getting the money and recruitment restrictions so that only locally based players can play for the alignment clubs,

4 the g7 don't get the way and a boycott goes into effect and effectively brings down the wafl due to penalities imposed on clubs forfeiting games,

and what would have happened if the AFL took over the licences and kleft the wafl high and dry,

just so u know my likely outcome, it is 3. I think sadl;y most other outcomes will still see the demise or withering of the WAFL over the next few years.

I think it is around 3500 mate, 5000 is the official target of the club, we have arguably the most passionate and dedicated supporter base along with West Perth
