Yes stinga is good, hope he comes on here. All that work he did on the ins & outs of all clubs was a waste of his time.

I think you are right about what has happened Freeze.
I know one of the guys who was a former mod there does cause some grief for the WAFL admin.
I had a few occassions to get the WAFL to sort him out.He tried to run the site like it was his own and didn't like others having a differing opinion to his and was deleting post for no reason.
A sad day if it doen't come back.

Know who you're taqlking about anchor Still, they sorted him out! I gave up on the site ages ago as I thought it was a little purple circle and debate was contained and constrained. Having said that, I hope it does open up again, it suited some people and competition is always good.

There's not even a forum heading on the home page now...gone for good i'd say.

If that is true then it is really really sad that you can't have an open and honest discussion with other people, providing it doesn't become nasty.

Don't know how true it is but I heard that it was an extensive makeover of the site.

Although I wouldn't have thought that would take all that long.

So it may have been all the abuse being thrashed around by a few.

Just saw a message on WAFL ONline which says it is closed permanently.

That's a shame as I thought it was a great site.

It may have been a bit of a admirations society site, and I do believe that is what killed it off in the end.That, and the fact that a few were prepared to air their dirty linen and make things personal.The same few were at loggerheads over on Footygoss before they took their fight to WAFLon line.
I had several conversations with the Ryan the person in charge of the running of the site, and he told me that they were skating on thin ice a few times.
The moderations that were happening were forcing people away from the site.
The fact that the WAFL actually took over the moderations on the site showed the of power given to some people there was abused and they over reacted to those who had differing opinions.
But sad to see it go none the less.

I dont believe that anchorman, why not just ban the culprits? Its the peel conspiracy theory I tell you!

In my opinion i dont think the closing of that site had anything to do with any individual posters,if it did why wouldnt you just ban those posters from the site for good.Much easier to do that than close the site down for good.

Maybe the one and only moderator that looked after the site just didnt want to do it anymore and there simply was no-one else at the wafl to do that and run the site or perhaps they forecast the sh*t that was going to be thrown around about East Perth and Peel when the season started so they just opted out now?

IMO it had nothing to do with anyone posts!
