I know this sounds bad BC, but I will not even go to our home games against these cheats, for me it makes no difference as I still support WP being a paid up member and have home game free entry anyway, so me not going will not hurt my club.

But just the thought of playing these fabricated AFL teams just puts me off, I just never want to see those two clubs again.

Have come to agree Falcon.. I have free entry to home games as well. I was going to not attend when we played at Peel and Leederville v EP and attend at Joondalup but will give the games against these 2 clubs a miss as well.
I will most probably attend at EF/SF/CLA etc for a WAFL game and support the WAFL clubs that way. That will include 2013

Yep...see where you're coming from Falcon but I'd still support my team when we're playing at home because they've done nothing wrong as far as I know and will take a great deal of satisfaction if we are lucky enough to beat the traitors.

I think the real victms in this will be the loyal local AFL guys who have to suit up for the cheats when they've come up through the ranks of genuine WAFL clubs. I guess some wouldn't be overly bothered but guys like Mark Le Cras, Nic Nat and Matty Priddis wouldn't be all that happy I'd suggest if they were coming back from say long term injury through the WAFL and had to wear EP colours against their clubs of origin.

Yes have spoken to a couple of mates re this BC and it applies to all Homegrown players who will have to put a EP jumper on when not playing AFL. They will not be allowed to play with the club that has bought them through and the club they love. It is obvious their passion will not be for EPFC but they will have to bust their guts to give themselves a chance of selection with their AFL club.

Talk about a conflict of interests.

I feel sorry for these guys as I do the supporters who have watched them come through their WAFL club.
Bottom line is they should of stuck with the previous arrangement where these loyal players could have played with their Club

So would you go watch EP v WP if they were in a final at Leederville in 2013?

Gee thats being optimistic but brings out more questions for 2014.
If EP V WP in the 2013 would go as EP would not have the alignment then!!!
2014 though
Would EP be able to play their AFL players.
What would the criteria be? Maybe 5 games with the club before the finals as it is now?
If the Eagles arent in the finals would EP have all their Eagles players. If the Eagles were in the finals (which is likely) how would they play it. The WA GF is usually on the Sunday whereas the AFL plays on the Saturday to prevent a conflict.

EP will not play in the Finals in 2013 because they will just play it out so they can go full out in 2014 with the Eagles carrying them?
Peel might be a chance as they will have up to 8 AFL players in 2013 anyway.

Getting ahead of ourselves terror...2013 will certainly be the LAST WAFL SEASON as we know it that is for certain.

When Peel win the 2014 grand final will the WAFL continue with this bottom side vs bottom side derby scenario that my club has been forced to participate in? Dont get me wrong the two bottom sides playing each other for the last 10 years has given given each club an opportunity at winning a couple of games each season and some wooden spoon rivalries have been entertaining but will the same be said when the difference is a 100pts each game.

Heres an idea why the the two AFL reserves sides play each other 20 times a year! At least that way you will get a decent crowd at ALL games!
