Makes me think I'll add a margins table to the Website showing breakdowns of margins, would make interesting reading I think.

I reckon a lot of those 100 point thrashings for Subi were between 76 and 83.

I'm scarred for life because of that period.

It's the reason I started watching colts as a boy.

I asked someone at the club if we'll ever be any good. The reply was - "have a look at the colts, there might be some future league players there ".

So I did and never stopped watching them. I'll always remember seeing the likes of Joe Agnello, Michael Mort, Stuart Rimmer, Warren Dean, Todd Breman, Paul Cook, Wayne Dawson, Mark Zanotti, Errol Binder, Mick Hoskins, etc and thinking yeah maybe one day we'll be ok when these guys come up.

Gee LH with those names mentioned above that looks like Subi's Colts team from around circa 1981 ..the halcyon days of WAFL footy!

Yeah spot on 1981, 1982 I started watching colts footy. Getting the bus in early from Scarborough. Bad days for Subi but things happen for a reason I guess.

Yeah I thought so as I started to go to the footy with my family as a young fella in 81 & in those days we had to be there during the Colts games to even get a seat in the McDonald Stand ..but I did get to see some up & coming young stars playing before they made their name in the Big League & some went onto the National & even International stage!

Round 15 Attendances
Swan Districts v West Perth at Steel blue, Bassendean 2,717
Claremont v East Fremantle at Kununurra 2,300
East Perth v Peel at Medibank, Leederville 1,949
South Fremantle v Perth at Fremantle 1,551

Bit of a worry to see a game involving Peel get more than a match between SF and P. Still, not a bad round. East Fremantle still leading the way. Normally by now, this long after the Derby, they have dropped back into the pack but not this season.

Good to see a reasonable crowd at Basso last Saturday. Hopefully a bumper crowd for a critical game against Perth at Basso this week.

Yeah excellent turnout at Bassendean. Hoping for something similar with SD v P and S v EF this week.

Given the importance of this game for both Swans and Perth we need at least a crowd of 3,500.
