Will be interesting to see how the EP meeting went..I know a couple of EP supporters who are not very happy people. Cant blame them. If WP had of done it I would of just given up and left the club.
Culture and History gone forever. A lot of EP legends would be turning in their graves

Not sure about that side of things mate but it was said there that the wafl will only be a 8 team comp very soon. So who will merge or get the chop?

That would have been one of the 'incentives' used by the AFL clubs when negotiating with East perth and Peel. "at least it won't be you". I think any club will resist merging and will have to be dragged kicking and screaming

But if they cut back their funding then some clubs will have no choice.

Gee if things aren't bad enough now you talk of WAFL clubs merging.
Stick to the issue.
I was in favour of 2 clubs merging but we are way off topic.
If funding became a issue I would certainly put my hand in my pocket like I did for EP when they were broke a when at Perth oval. Can remember it well. Maybe we should of let them go then.. But our love of WAFL got them back.
Now they are broke again and BETRAYING THE WAFL.
WHAT A PACK OF LOSERS..

Well done Bronte at least you carried them for a long time. I really wonder how you feel with this betrayal of our great comp...RIP EP AND PEEL.

WPFC you will get my membership because you have tried hard to fight this and I will continue to be member until I die...Why because you are Cardies and it is not fault of yours or any other WAFL club who is being unethical and integrity means nothing.

Dont get angry WAFL FANS JUST GET EVEN

Interesting to note the only 2 clubs to pipe up at these meetings and get passionate are West Perth and Swans, if the paper was correct today it seems our president had to be called into line as he wanted to throttle Walton and cooper
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Here's hoping someone can post a summary or maybe a brief outline of what happened at the EP information meeting? Not all of us live in the city. There are a lot of unhappy EP and Wafl supporters out there.

Yes S, I was thinking the same. The others seemed quiet.
The Swans president let loose at the football commission with all guns blazing apparently. Going by the paper article, he needed to be calmed down. Good to see someone is passionate about the Wafl.
It's possible it won't be the wafl soon!? Might have to get used to calling it the Ex-wafl?

I agree Swan Dog, i only ever here Raponi pumping up his club and the WAFL and great to hear Harvey was strong in his comments. The others have to start swinging and supporting our WAFL
