You're asking me to believe it was all them and you had zero involvement.

You can believe what you want not being there but I'm telling you that Roleystones actions were unsportsmanlike, unwarranted and instigated the melee. Of course we had involvement in the melee,as any side who had men playing for them would have, sticking up for an outnumbered team mate. But once again let me remind you that in no way was there any retaliation by Swan View to the niggle up until that time other than goal after goal after goal. And that probably pissed them off even more.

In Mad Dogs defence, (I wasn't at the game and all I know about this incident is by reading this thread) I don't think he is claiming Swan View weren't involved in the melee. Obviously he is coming from a Swan View bias but doesn't mean his points about Roleystone apparently lauding themselves for a good fight aren't valid, to say no one cares is pretty silly as why even have these forums if no one cares. You can go to the waafl website to get the scores, this forum is to discuss the games etc... everyone on here cares that's why they are here.

Sounds like the umpires jumped the gun by calling the game off but at C4 level you can't expect them to get everything right, you have to appreciate that the level you are playing you shouldn't expect umpires to get everything perfect...

I had many close friends at that game and all having Swan View bias - they told me that more than sticking up for their mate Swan View went straight for the kill and thwoing donkey kong swings straight out.

One player who is the brother of the coach was seen to be bragging about how he was throwing hay makers and almost "knowcked out" several players.

No matter how it started this is behaviour that forced so many players to leave Swan View over the years forcing them to not field enough teams to stay in B Grade recently.

Umpires do need to be more understanding but with the actions that Swan View were clearly proud of and several witnesses telling me about I would say they had no choice.

Are you suggesting that all in brawls and melees are what has caused players to leave a club? I wouldn't have thought Swan View would've been involved in any more brawls than the next C grade club. That seems a petty statement to make.

There are a number of clubs that behave this way more than some and View are one of them.

Players leave and go to other clubs not always other C grade clubs. Arent they C4 anyway? which is actually the real F grade. Most teams down there are social and not looking fight which makes it worse.

Your an absolute dreamer 'MacAttack'!
For one you have very few friends at the Swan View football club and I'm not sure how any supporters other than those sitting near the Roleystone bench would have any perspective considering it was right on to of their bench. Most supporters didn't even realise what was happening as it was so far away from where the majority were.
So instead of trying to shit stir maybe you should be more worried about getting your 'beloved' Swan Pathetic away from the relegation zone.
Once a gain I can guarantee you and everyone else out there that the brother you are accusing of throwing hay makers did not throw 1 punch. I'm guessing your still pissed at him for leaving you guys without a quality ruck man this year. The other brother who is probably the more hothead of the 2 was well clear.
So don't you look like a twat!!

Mad Dog - these friends I apparently dont have are friends of many of your players as I am with some contrasting to what you think.
But I will take your word for the events as you must have been there.

Please dont start to compare Swan Athletic and Swan View as you are 5 grades below us and would lose a match by 20 goals against our league team.

A quality ruckman??? no quality ruckman left Athletic this year for Swan View. If you are referring to Watttleworthless... He was back up ruckman and 3rd or 4th option forward at best. He will shine is F/C4 grade.

Tall poppy syndrome? As a local, a strong View is what I would like to see, more options for players in our area to play for a club in a grade worth training for.

And just to add to that,I've been involved at the Swan View FC for over 25 years and not one game has been called off, definitely not since our inception back into the Ammos from the hills comp in 2001. We've rarely been involved in any melee's and pride ourselves in the fact that we have had very few suspensions and or yellow cards throughout all grades. We've never been a club known for being dirty or brawlers and this will continue as we strive to go back up through the grades. The reason we went from E to B grade in 5-6 years was because of good football. The reasons we fell from there are something we've identified and hopefully we are on the right track so if we are good enough to one day reach those heights again we will be much better prepared.

Not sure where I compared both clubs or where I tried to cut yours down. Every time you post on here you are looking more and more like the fool that you are. You've talked shit for 3-4 posts now which clearly driven by your lack of respect which is demonstrated by the untruths you are telling.
