Club umpires in the lower grades don't even have to be qualified nowadays. Giving them more power to influence a game is just plain stupid and it will happen.

Complain all you like guys the new rules are in and you will just have to get used to them just as the umpires have no choice in enforcing them. You will adapt pretty quickly.
