HOWEVER! I find it weird we get to Rd 14 and your the first person to complain about a Noranda ump in thread that's the longest in the WAAFL forums. And of no coincidence you were on the losing end.

Be interesting if Forrestdale put in a complaint.

Well it's funny that you should mention this "Wendy" cause if it's the same young fella that umpired against us then "Sleath" is right he is terrible but that's 3rds football....you gotta take what ya get, that's the problem with club umpires they are and can be very biased.....it may be because its a regular occurrence that no-one has bothered 2 mention it but we all see the other side of umpiring as well in that we need them 2 be able 2 play the game....it's by no doubt a thankless job......however as far as umpires go we played High Wycombe 2day and I must say he is up there with the best in this grade.....fair and calls it how it is.

As 4 our game it was a one sided affair but I must point out the camaraderie shown by both sides and in particular HW in inviting us into their change rooms straight after the game 4 beers.....never have I ever been involved in something like this before in having beers with the opposition in their change rooms immediately after a game.....having played against them 4 about 3 or so years now and in particualr the GF last season it's a credit 2 the HW boyz in offering this, great bunch of blokes and evident of the mutual respect that has grown between the 2 sides.

Nice Work Sleath.....Dont mind saying there was some dubious decision from your umpire ...... maybe if you worked on your goal kicking and less time on blaming the umpire you might have won but if thats the way you wanna roll then go ahead..... the better team on the day won ... so suck it up mate !

So safe to say there's some feeling between the dale and noranda. Wondering anyone from the dale. Is it the same team you played against last time or is it a completely new 1?

Can someone let us know more about Forestdale, are they not the same team as previous weeks or Noranda just played well on the day, or as per other threads on here are the extra players they have received from other clubs recently maybe pushed Ressie players down into the 3rds team??

As for Warnbro V Brentwood well I think we played half of there Reserves team based on what there reserves team played and looked like!! Also based on quiet a few new faces from last time and the fact they almost rolled us before we managed to steady and win by 4 goals. Apart from that a good game that was good to watch!!
Looks like the top 4 might be interesting towards the end of the year!!!

Well I mean if kingsway are dropping reserves. Surely other teams are.

Il put it straight right now with our league side sitting fourth our reserves sitting first and our colts second no players have been dropped to our thirds... actually just the opposite you can feel free to go to waafl site and look thru our team list and see if anything our thirds players have pushed up to play reserves thru injuries and players away on holidays ... as coach of the thirds I can honesty say the win came from hard work and getting my best 18 on the park as you all know is not easy in thirds and being four goals up at half time gave my boys the belief we could come away with the win... and to Forrestdales credit they did not give up and had their chances all the way with 30 seconds to go..... I thought it was a hard fought game with neither side giving an inch and was played in great spirit for most of the game ... yes Forrestdale was a little undermanned with injuries .... but we had 18 on the field 1 player who did his ankle in the second and myself who went on for 2 mins so I take nothing away from my lads who played their hearts out to get the win... as for bad blood their is none from our side of things... I had a few beers and a chat with a few of their players and their president and did not see any hard feeling .... actually have to say they are a good bunch of lads who I enjoyed having a chat to and who a still one of the teams to beat come finals !

Geez mate....as coach what kind of example you setting down there drinking beers during the middle of a season let alone getting the frame out on the park for 2 mins....one might have thought you'd learnt from past mistakes playing blokes who are way too old and no longer able to produce on the park...just thank your lucky stars you didn't tweak a hammy and have my eternal laughter to deal with....next thing I know you'll be telling me you snuck forward during the entire 2 mins you entered the fray....we all know what happened last time you lined up them big sticks mate...suggest u don't put yourself under so much pressure in foreign territory coach, you might just wake up and ruin the dream...stick to the back line
