Gf not sure how u could think Quinn's wasn't a chance when they rolled ridge few weeks b4 and as for gosnals blew them outta the water and gained a bit respect off kingsway??? Maybe it was the massive 15 min drive from all the way up in Cervantes that had helped made ur decision? Although it didn't seem to matter when they came down to roll the rams.. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

That's why they're called snipers... They aren't seen.

My two favourite players of all time time could be considered snipers, who cares what they do, if it's that's what they need to do to go out and help their team win the game of football then so be it..,

Also can anybody shed some light on the Ian Dargie Colts fixture between Onion Ridge and Captain Stirling?
Did Stirling even roll up? If so, they obviously had a big night the night before,..

Ocean Ridge (IDC)
10.1 19.2 26.5 36.7 (223)
Stirling (IDC)

Quinns the new premiership fancies after beating 3rd place Kingsley, Melville finding form a little too late, Kingsway and Stirling keep on winning and Lynwood knock off the boys from the Bronx. Its was a big week in C1 football.

Great day of football out at Wyong Reserve on Saturday. Canning SP too good in the colts against an undermanned (or underboyed?) Melville side. Too quick and too skillful on the day.

Melville got the job done in a good quality game of reserves footy. The strong breeze didn't really prove an advantage for either team, going goal for goal in the first 3 quarters until Melville managed to get back to back goals to put the game out of reach in the last. The tall forward line of the Rams proved too much to handle, winners by 15 points.

In the league, Melville fielded possibly their strongest side of the year with some stars returning from injury. And the scoreline showed with an 8 goal to none first quarter paving the way for a RAMpant (yeah I did!) 4 quarter performance, eventual winners by 100 points. Well done to the peanut from Canning SP who managed to get himself a red card in the last quarter when the result was dead an buried. Not sure if it was for the disgusting rat tail hanging off the back of his melon or the errant fist which got confused between face and ball. Hang your head in shame mate, if things weren't bad enough for your teammates you left them to play with 17 for the last 15mins.

Melville are going to make it difficult for a lot of teams in the tail end of the season, particularity the ones battling for the last few finals spots who pencilled the Rams down as an easy 4 points a couple of weeks ago.

Final congratulations to the canteen at Wyong. Some of the best footy food in the West and cheap beer prices to go with it. Hot chips were exceptional, burgers came with bacon egg and beetroot and $3 for a stubby is what gets people to the footy on a Saturday.

Stirling colts have been struggling all year, sometimes only rocking up with 15 to play the game and have also forfieted a few. Surprised they all still in the comp
