I voted for Clive when we had that senate re-election. I don't trust Labour or Liberal. Like his adds.

Which senate re-election was that?

When Tony Abbott flogged Rudd in October 2013.Someone had opened up senate voting boxes before they where counted. The high court deemed the Wa Senate vote invalid. Some of the Senate places where really close.WA had a full senate re-election in February 2014.
It was a disaster for Labour that lost 2 of there senate seats. One to Dio Wang PUP+1 to the Greens Scott Ludlum who missed out in the October 2013 general election by a handful of votes. From memory Ludlum was the one who challenged it in court.

One usually opens up the voting boxes before counting them. Was it before the voting closed?
By not opening the boxes before counting would results in NIL votes + postal.

Can't remember what happened. Ludlum challenged the vote in court and won.And we went back to the polls.

I can understand a protest vote , but not with a proven farkstick.
