Apparently the cost of the licence for them will go from 450K to 800K , giving 100K each to trad clubs.

I think your maths are a bit out.that is only a extra $350,000 and east perth are starting $175,000 behind.i would expect a extra $20,000 each after the royals come back to parity.

800 k they were not paying before for a licence..the alignment money goes but the dockers payments stay...don't they?

The eagles and dockers were already paying $450,000 each to have aligned sides so I supect now that the eagles want to have a stand alone team that amount will go up to $800,000 which is a increase of only $350,00 I know they can afford more but it won't happen.

East Fremantle are not EAST of the West Coast Plain.

I never posted that they were?!

This has been, in my opinion, the worst ever. I know my views are skewed because of the Shark’s plight and motivation to go to the game just wasn’t there. As for the rest, I had no real interest after about round 6 or 8 because it was patently obvious that Subi had the flag on the bag. I can’t see anyone thinking it has been a good year when you look at the bookend teams. Surely even Subi supporters had little joy at their club never being seriously challenged. No excitement there.

No I think they (all 50 supporters of them) actually do enjoy making a mockery of the WAFL competition 58...you only had to hear that smug p@#$ coach of theirs in his speech that went on forever when no one could care less and just wanted to have a kick on the park!

So I guess the estimated 2500 who crowded into the Subi rooms/club later in the evening were all blow-ins from the Leederville Sunday afternoon social scene.

You really are pathetic, BH. The good new is there is 6 months before the next season starts, and you still have time to grow up a little.

Hey Jack...welcome old son. Sunday was a beautiful day for footy and thoroughly enjoyed by myself, the FLM, my daughter whom you met and her partner Matt...just a shame you couldn't get down as well but no doubt had a lovely time following online nonetheless. Forget about BH and his mates...they're still hurting from Casserly and how it cast a long legitimacy shadow over their drug tainted GF win of 2010.

This year has been one of great irony.

Its quite remarkable that the club that set the 1946 unbroken record , the year it is finally broken came last, who would of the thought most successful club in WANFL WAFL history would have such an enormous fall.

1946 was the year after the war ended and many of the WAFL clubs were still depleted by war service, EF benefitted from the side that was much closer to full strength than most of the comp.

Not long after that the comp evened out and for decades no team would dominate the comp to that extent again.

The War was the excuse back then, what is the excuse now?
