Pickering was appointed for 2 years, unless he has had an extension already?

The 3Qt time speech was exactly 4 words, it had a real feeling of death like he had given up

That was the most inept effort I have ever seen from a supposed League Football side.
They cannot even carry out the most basic of skills and this coach has sent us backwards with not even 0.000001% improvement since the start.

Thought I read somewhere SD fought it out till the end.....2.10 sounds very EF esque like from last year boys....Last chance next week v WCE for a win.....when was the last time...if ever...... a fella wins a F&B and a wooden spoon at two different clubs back to back.....

Funny you should say that Freezin, I am now getting an insight into the abyss that EF supporters must have been looking into when Wiley was coach. Same sort of feeling at Swans this year and yep Hampson will win the F and B by a mile. Hope you were joking about Ballantyne, Royal 2019, I don't know what the answer to Swans plight is but it sure ain't a washed up Docker.

Looking into the abyss mike? That’s where we’ve been for years. You blokes have only had to endure it for a few months.
Let me assure you, if your club does nothing, as ours did, it just gets worse.

Imagine how many words were said at half time after that dreadful 2nd qtr.
I think he should do the honourable thing and resign as it is just not working out and the club can’t afford these continual pathetic performances in this day and age of the wafl.
The ep & cl influenced football department should probably join him and we get some Swans men involved who have a passion for our club and its mantra that these blow ins have no idea about!

BH...you're a passionate Swans man so I'd be interested in your thoughts on whether the problem is the coach, the culture which probably would have started when Harding was in charge, the cattle or a combination of all three? It's certainly disappointing for all WAFL supporters to see Swans throw up these sorts of efforts and I can't imagine how tough it must be for lifetime supporters such as yourself and Mike.

I’m sorry to say I saw this coming. Just no inkling of improvement or desire. I asked two senior players who have been around for a decade what they thought of the coach this week... I got a painful grin and basically a little sigh and response that he is hopeless, doesn’t have the players and it’s time for a change from the top down.

Without changing the entire football department and having capable people running the club who will bring in capable people from the outside nothing will change. Other clubs have shown improvement can come much quicker than it feels possible in times like this. It just takes balls and decisions that don’t keep protecting turf of people who have hung around like bad smells.

Members must have balls too, stop backing in inept and unqualified people who have produced poor outcomes.

Hopefully consistent on field results like this give power to members to finally have the will to enforce change

the problem is the Claremont bloke; the present caoch needs to adopt a more offensive game plan to give SD fans some hope in the final fixtures.
