Looking at the wrap up a while back - I see the Basso Boys ressies had a big comeback win

Noticed Rudy got amongst it again , hopefully he's back up where he belongs against us next week

More to the pont Mike why was he playing Reserves again in the first place?
I watch all 3 grades and I can tell you our match committee are treating us all with contempt at the moment by not even close to picking the best 22 for the League side each week.
If their are not at least 10 changes to the side that played today they are kidding themselves.
Great win to the Reserves after being over 8 goals down in the 2nd qtr even against a side that contained 5 current and 2 former WC Budgies and also to the Colts in the only grade of the 3 that isnt compromised by this AFL Reserves bullshit!

I took no great pleasure in the win today. I would say the young curly headed defender was a highlight for Swans.
I think the alignment is only one of the problems we have in the WAFL in my opinion. It's all about $$$$ only Subi and EP have any.

Mike there were 16 Eagles playing in the League plus 5 in the Reserves against us today not to mention the full WCE coaching group, how any right minded EP supporter could possibly think either grade had any connection whatsoever with the former EPFC is beyond me!

I think your maths is out Beasley but the point is the same. Riddoch would be a great pick up for any team, is there off field problems with him or just ordinary selection.

On Perth there members will make the decision as to there future direction.There Colts have not lost a game in 2016 unlike Subi colts that havnt won a game.

Stop making excuses for the incompetent sdfc , south beat the dorkers reserves today, fact is swans and perth are both completely below league level, and poor standards are killing the comp.

Surely it's now time to consider dropping Swans down to amateurs for a few seasons, the WAFL needs to step in to end this embarrassment and damage Swans are doing to its reputation.

To be honest BH there has been little conversation on the SD board since I agreed to moderate. As long as the posts aren't personal attacks on fellow members, contain inappropriate language or slander against individuals as we have seen on this site before I see no reason to remove posts (apologies again to mikeh for accidental removal of his post) We are all adults who love our WAFL footy and should be able to tolerate a little banter without blowing our stacks. Footy has a funny way of biting one on the arse when one gets ahead of themselves so I have no real drama regarding posts so far from TOS and Bazza as they enjoy their moments in the sun whilst their clubs are flying. The SDFC is a strong community and our team and club will find a way to bounce back from recent poor form. I have no doubt, we are the mighty fighting black and whites after all. It may not happen in 2016 but it will happen.

As for TOS suggesting we get farmed off to amateurs one could suggest that Subis Colts team are removed from the comp and players returned to strengthen their junior clubs or local amateur clubs who will probably do a better job at developing them anyways

Jukes probably did enough to get back next week. If Riddoch doesn't get a game next week, I don't know when he will. Maybe time to introduce Dylan Smith as well to try and get some more goal scoring potential.
