Congratulations to Simmo with all things going well at training this week on his 150th game in the hallowed Swan Districts jumper v East Fremantle at Shark Park this Saturday.
He epitomises Swan Districts in the way he goes about it - without fuss or complaint, he gets the job done and along with Amesy is the most important player in the team IMO.
Whenever the ball is in his hands I breath easier because 99% of the time he uses it with panache and doesn't panic in tight situations.
Along with Tony Notte is probably the most versatile player we have had the past decade too, who can forget his 5 goal haul in the 2010 Prelim final to get us into the GF, and various other 4 and 5 goal hauls before Stiffy needed a cool reliable head down back. He also holds the all time WAFL tackling record alongside another champion Duck in Ryan Davis with 21 tackles which is staggering in this day and age.
Well done Simmo, know one deserves it more!

Very good and underrated WAFL player. 150 games is no mean feet nowadays. Congratulations Justin.

was struck down with hodgkins lymphona when he was around 17 after being an all-australian 16 year old, to come back and play league footy after that is a great effort.
recent loss of a prem baby as well so he has done it tough and a great clubman.
some Swans team mates recently joined him in a half marathon to raise money for a kids charity and was also joined by Brett Robinson and Kody Manning.
