Will be a good match this one. Think Swan Districts only lost 2 Home games thus far. Swans have kicked 103 goals (at Home), whilst Subiaco have scored 92 goals in their Away matches. The other HUGE match will be the East Frem hosting West Perth with the Falcons no certainties to win.

BC Swans have conceded 83 goals in 8 games at Bassendean ( an average of about 10). Subiaco have conceded 42 goals in 6 games away from Leederville Oval or a miserly average of 7 goals per game. So my guess is that it could be a low scoring encounter.

Really looking forward to this game, should be a ripper, expecting Swans to leave nothing on the paddock at the end. Forecast for early showers but hopefully they have blown over by game time. Ressies is also a big contest, Swans currently in 2nd by 2 points but Subi with a massive % and a game in hand, could decide who gets home ground for the qual final.

I mentioned in another thread that most teams want to flood against Subi due to our powerful mids and forwards, the last team that beat us was Joondy and they played a more hard running fast ball movement game, Subi are not the fastest by foot team in the comp, so if Swans choose to run hard and spread it will get interesting, plus that type of game is less strenuous than the flood so would suit the younger Swans boys.

I'm guessing if the boys are switched on (and that may be an issue now)it will be Subi's defensive unit that will win the day. Cary at one end and Notte & Ames at the other are class big lads so we will need to work around those guys.

Ressies finals are dictated to by the League games. If you happen to get home ground advantage out of it then that's luck of the draw.

From what I can see, Swan Districts have kicked 103 goals at Home and conceded 84 goals Eight Home games thus far gives an average of 13 goals and average of 11 against. Subiaco for seven Away games have 92 goals and conceded 51. Subiaco currently averaging 13 goals (Home) and conceding on average 7. If all that makes sense? Souths and Claremont should win their matches. The match at the Oval in East Fremantle should be an interesting game. Especially given the weather forecast with partly cloudy conditions and the odd shower of rain and apparently only 16°.

I think Subiaco will be going in as favourites and should win by 4 or 5 goals? But having said that, Swans are at Home where the home ground is a definite advantage to them. The weather forecast is also looking to be a wet cold day and if Swans don't mind wet weather footy, it will also suit them. In the scheme of things was a huge loss to Swans last week (but good for Claremont) and they cannot afford to let this game slip away.
