Rain and wind generally don't auger well for big crowds mikeh. The heavy rain had cleared up by start of league game but blustery day would have kept many away unfortunately. Still the biggest turnout of the 4 games. Smallish crowd maybe not such a bad thing considering the state of the external toilet block on Saturday.

DW have you contacted either Swans or the Bassendean Council about the toilets on Saturday?

How good is Alex Howard?? I have been watching him closely the last two years - This guy just doesnt get beat. I was surprised of his height when I saw him pre game. Hes much bigger than I expected. Reads the play extremely well and is turning into a bit of a general and mainstay in the backline. I really like him as a player and just another reason why Swans will be a finals team hopefully.

Some people on here scoffed when I suggested last year Howard was a chance of being drafted.

Good point. I would hope after the club had to rope off the ladies someone will be looking in to solving the floater issues. That said one hopes the club doesn't have to wait on action from the council who I assume are responsible for the matter being that they are the landlord. Took me back to the Big Day Out in 97 when a stream of turds started sailing out of the same toilet block on their way down to the picket fence with the oblivious well fuelled up majority happily jumping away in the puddles on a very hot day. My festival history has taught me that there is nothing like a blocked dunny or 2 to put a spoiler on a perfectly good day of partying, especially when you are on the organising committee. Why these things always seem to start in the ladies is something I will leave to the anthropologists of the world to explain. Clearly ablution and evolution don't work hand in hand

Plumber was there this arvo. Has been there several times in the last few weeks. Just close them off and put some portables on the grass if it can't be 100% certain not to explode! Glad the club got rid of those Golden Arches on the hill aye DW! Hodyl definitely wasn't a fan.

Easy fixed just open up the block to the right of the Macca Stand behind the Bassendean end shed.
Now lets get back to talking about the on field footy stuff ffs!
